Shift Solenoid "C"

I have found from searching thru the forum this is a common issue....but I still cant seem to find ( or maybe my brain just cant comprehend) the best way to repair on my 2010 Ford Taurus SEL the Shift Solenoid "C"..... I just replaced the TSS / OSS due to the trans dead in the water in my driveway luckily ..... when i drove it saturday it popped the code "Shift Solenoid C".... can i just change the solenoid or do I need to or should I replace the Solenoid Assembly ?
Thanks for any assistance
