windshield washer fluid drain?

So for whatever reason, the Prestone bug wash windshield washer fluid seemed to leave a residue on my car. I washed it and it seems to be caked into the finish. I'm trying to get my regular detailer to take a look but of course, as it would happen, the detailer is super busy right now.

The question I have for you all is how can I disconnect the reservoir and clean it out with some distilled water?

Is there an access from underneath the car? Is there a tube that I can simply disconnect and just rinse the reservoir out with the water?

You can get to it through the front right wheel well. I forget which way you want to turn the wheel. If one way doesn't work, try the other. There's a hose that's connected to the pump. The pump is directly connected to the reservoir. You should be able to pull the hose off the pump.

Stick a hose in it and flush the tank out like that. Then siphon for the tank until empty. That should dilute the mixture.
