I’m not much of a mechanic or forum guy. My ‘06 a/c pulley and clutch is shot, 176,512 miles, my tool guy says find a bypass pulley and he’ll put it in...... been searching every where, Ford seems to change part numbers like my Sox... any suggestions out there
Welcome George! You have 3 options: 1. Replace the pulley/clutch. It can be done on the car. 2. Pull the compressor and install a bypass pulley. 3. The easiest, just buy a shorter "bypass" serpentine belt. Use the search features at the top right of this page to find the right size.
