01 & 03 Vulcan

Hellur! I'd like to say long time lurker but I bought my first car, the '03, at 31 yrs old a year ago and my bf bought me the '01 a few months later. And since issues started with the '03 soon after, i assume because it sat for a year, ive been an active researcher with the TCCA as my bible lol. To be brutally honest, never been a ford fan but as my first car(s) I'm attached to my car (the '01, nicer interior and 20k less miles). Drove it from Bullhead city, AZ to Brookings, OR and almost all the way back. On the central coast of Ca in SLO I hit black ice, locked up the brakes did a 1 1/2 turn before hitting the center divider and getting stuck in mud. The bf, also a shade tree mechanic, rocked her out and then in downtown LA she was done. Just this month we finally got her home and the plan to use the '03 (which is now the bf car) to fix mine is slowly but surely gonna blow in our faces as my '01 has the axod/ax4s and his '03 has the ax4n. And with limited tools and absolutely no money! But you guys rock and glad to finally be a member
