Removal of Dealer Sticker

Could someone tell me the best (proper) way to remove one of them Dealer name stickers from the trunk lid. I hate advertising for someone without compensation. Thanks

Warm it up with a heatgun, get your thumb nail under the edge and peel it off. Clean up the residual adhesive with brake cleaner or lacquer thinner.

Thanks Brian in Tucson. I took it into the neighborhood collision shop. The owner said it should be hot enough today to peel it off without heat. He did exactly what you said. Then used some sort of bug, grease and tar remover to get the sticky stuff off. Her rear end looks much better now.

Wouldn't Goo Gone hurt the wax/finish?
