Rear Sway bar Install

Start by loosening the lug nuts on the rear tires, then start jacking up the rear of the car and placing jack stands under each side of the car. Once the rear of the car is off the ground remove the rear tires.

Unbolt the endlink by holding the flat spots on the link with a 5mm end wrench IIRC and either a deep well socket or a box end wrench on the nut.

Once you have removed the endlink, you can drop the exhaust. I didn't have to drop my exhaust to put my new bar in but I did have to drop it to take my old bar out. There are two of these brackets holding the exhaust up.

I had to unhook my filler neck hose to remove and put in my bar (make sure you don't have a full tank of gas), I have been told that other people with Gen IVs have had to do this as well. I am unsure but it was far easier with it removed.

Remove the hose clamp on the big filler neck hose.

You will need to unbolt the bracket that holds the fuel lines to the car so that you can get enough room to wiggle the rear bar out.

The last thing to do is just remove the two bolts that hold the rear sway bar in place and twist and turn it until it comes out.

That is it for the rear bar.
