Not the best quality video, but it may still be helpful for those who are a bit intimidated by having to pull the door panels off.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgJRkxr5Ctk

This job is fairly easy and can be done by almost anyone who knows how to use a screwdriver and a ratchet.

Only thing that was a pain was the little clips that hold the door panel on. Some of them get stuck in the door and don't come off with the trim panel, so you gotta pry them out. After trying a few different things I found that the best way to get them out without destroying them was to take 2 flathead screwdrivers. Slide each screwdriver in between the clip and the door on opposite sides of the clip. Slide the screwdrivers downward so that the center of the shafts are in between the clip and the door. Then, pull back on both screwdrivers and it will pop right out. This is best done with long screwdrivers.

Informative video. You shot that on a cell phone?

And the panel removal tools from Harbor Freight would be much easier than the screwdrivers (and you won't scratch up the plastic). $5.99 for a set of 5 tools to remove various panels.

I wish I had something better than the cell phone. It takes halfway decent video but it will only save it in a small pixel format.

I was looking at video cameras and the only ones worth getting are too expensive. The 200 dollar or less cameras aren't any better than my phone except for the fact that they save the video in a larger pixel format.

Thanks for the vid. I was backing into my garage today and was trying not to hit my wifes car and instead ended up catching the mirror on the garage. I'll have to give this a shot.

I got a video not found error as well. I would have really loved to see the video in case it can be reposted. Door panels can be such a problem sometimes.
