Chicago Assembly Plant Photo / Video Shoot 11/03/12
After 14mo.'s of persistent phone calls, emails, etc. I recently received authorization from FMC Corporate in Dearborn, MI. to access the grounds (in & out) for a photo shoot and tour of Chicago's Assembly Plant (CAP).
The unfettered access was an incredible treat and I felt like royalty as the employee's and staff at the CAP were as amazed by my 2010 SHO and it's mods, as I was equally amazed by their incredible talents at assembling the vehicle's that they do (one of them being the Taurus). Anyhow, here's a 20min video link on Youtube, as well as link to an album where the still images were captured in/on my Photobucket account. Enjoy both! Yea, it was an incredible experience to say the least.
The tour lasted literally near 5hrs! It was absolutely amazing and each employee was incredibly friendly, and very down to earth. Made me even more proud to be driving a Ford afterwards..... Each of you would be astonished by the amount of quality control that goes into each and every part of the vehicle making process.  FMC CAP
