Anyone know of any?

I know of 2...
U-Pull-it in Aurora (Farthest from me)
And Midwestern Auto Parts (Closer)

I'm trying to get a whole steering column for the 94 Escort

Dispite the great amount of ranting... Replacing this ought to make it a good car again....

Drives fine, shifts into gear fine, AC works.... All that fun stuff.... (Even though I'd love to replace it with a Taurus.... probably isn't happening)

Anyway....
I'm looking around because U-Pull-it wants $80 with steering wheel, no airbag, and column.
Midwestern wants $75 for the same thing.

Also it would be maybe acceptable to find an 04+ SEL.... Provided it has the parts I want.... (Outside temperature reader, and compass that will connect to the Instrument Cluster...)

Oh and Victory sucks... They overcharge and their yard sucks. I'm open to suggestions, however I'd try to avoid going out to as far as Chicago... Unless they have damn good deals.... (Also... if one could post a phone number too, that'd be even more fantastic )

Well, if you want to travel into Indiana there is a WONDERFUL HUGE junkyard with over 3K cars there.... It's located near East Chicago, IN.

There are several Chicago TCCA members that would've met up with you, myself included.

There is a U-Pull-It place near me. I've become really close to the owner there, and I constantly walk around looking for random stuff. Pretty good selection - I'd say he has close to a dozen GIII Taurii at any given time.

I'm willing to meet up, my schedule is tight too, so hard to work around that. Typically weekends I'm always at work though :S

I know this weekend I work from 12 PM to close (9:30ish)

At the same time I need a junkyard that is cheap, and isn't going to charge an arm and a leg.

It'd be nice to take parts from SHO's....

However...

Escorts are what I need.... With an air bag.... On a 94-95 Escort.

And very cheap. Working at AutoZone doesn't give me money.

I put gas in the Taurus and make a payment or insurance steals money, and I have nothing

Blue Island eh?? Right by me..

I don't want to really hijack his thread, but if any of you are at a yard (Daniel, Ashley-I might try there, Jarrod) if you see any good condition front, or rear, or well both bumpers in green-monotone (with the black trim line, not the plastichrome trim line around the bumper) for a 97-04 Regal, LMK.
