Default injector problems need help

hi guys im new to the forum and really need some help so here goes. i got a replacment engine for my 1992 taurus sho mtx the engine had a complete harness except for one spot that had been cut that was the wires for the ignition control module so i cut off the piece i needed from my original engines harness and wired it up. i am getting fire and gas to the fuel line but she wont start up, if i spray it with starting fluid she will start right up and run as long as i am spaying the starting fluid. im not sure where to look to see what i might have left unhooked or what wires to look for to run my injectors. I do have power to the red wire on the injectors any help would be greatly appreciated

PIP signal may not be getting from Ign module to PCM. Does the Tach move while cranking?

Injectors getting the ground from the PCM to open can easily be checked using a NOID light.

Fuel pressure should be about 30-32 idling and 38-40 key on, engine off.

If pressure drops then you have a bad pump (check valve), bad regulator (leaking), bad injector(s) (leaking) or leak(s) in fuel line. If you don't smell gas, then the problem is the pump or regulator.

Ign module, crank, or cam sensor could be bad. All three are needed for the PCM to know when to fire the injectors.

Before you say "I have spark, so it's good" the ignition module fires plugs with only timing adjustments from the computer. It feeds RPM info to the computer as a separate function.

this car is driving me crazy fuel pressure when you first cut the switch on while the pump is running is around 70 to 80 then when pump stops it drops to 30 to 40 and then bleeds off to about 15 or 20 imediatly and in a minute or 2 the pressure is completely gone. now when i spray the car to get it started and keep spraying to keep it goin it reads around 70 to 80 i quess because the pump is running i cant find any leaks anywhere. can the ground from the pcm be unhooked somwhere because i have been having a hard time getting everything plugged back up. can anyone give me an idea of how to track this ground or what i might have unhooked. i have one ground right beside the big plug that i quess goes to the pcm it is hooked up and there is a ground hooked to the intake not sure where it went so i hooked it to the fire wall.
