Yes, but based on your numbers, you are running fairly low boost, I would guess around 8 psi. I tend to be more of a boost junkie, 20+.

The SHO motors are built a little stronger from factor then a Duratec. With that being said you can add a little more boost before having to completely rebuild it.

BOOST WARZ!

I agree with Roach. Now if you're planning on running a boost whore amount, you're gonna want to be rebuilding. Now, it sounds like that isn't your plan though. A little bit of boost, *if you get some shop help, they can modify the headers to work. One of the shops actually told me to get headers from a turbo'd car rather using my own. Different shops have different ways*

As for that trans, I'd say a Doug build and tune.
So you got a turbo
headers
(Those 2 contradict the other unless, again, you find a way to make both work)
Tuner
Doug (or equivalent) trans build.

Another route is a supercharger (?)

Monster SRT is an unknown quantity at this point
Default

Thus far here is what I've come to figure out from this thread.

Shift Kit w/ tuner
Remove intake silencer. (I suppose this would allow more air flow, and probably make it louder.)
K&N Air Filter, or some type of Cold Air Intake
Exhaust(Not sure which would be best, but I'm guessing a low flow.)
Headers (If applicable to engine)
Tune

Will this help with at least 20-25 HP gains? Also, a link to a few sites to grab the parts would be awesome. Am I missing anything from the list?

Just that there are no headers available for the Taurus Duratec. You will have to make your own or mod a Contour set.

Shift kit will require a rebuild.

What about putting a 5 speed manual in? They bolt right up from the Contour right? I'm curious if anyone has ever done that to a tec. How do the electronics work? Sorry to hijack the thread.

It is possible but it is not something you can easily drop in. You need to get the clutch and shifter assembly to work out. You will need to fabricate a new transmission mount. You will also need to tune for having an MTX.

Right. Just was curious how the electronics work. Just a tune is all that needs to be done electronics wise?

After my 5-speed swap, the ECU sometimes kicks in a rev limiter at 4K rpm. It feels the car moving, but does not sense a tranny, so it will sometimes kick in the limiter as a safety precaution. I will be upgrading the ECU after the stroker motor is done, to the new AEM INFINITY stand alone. Right now, I can power through the limiter if I want, or get to the limiter, downshift, punch it, then upshift.
