Default Engine Swap

I have a 2003 3.0 v6, will the engine from a 2000 24v dohc fit without modifications?

If you have a 24v DOHC in yours already it may, but not without modifications. The cooling system in the 2000-2001 changed and the water pump is run off of the cams. The 2000 doesn't have this extra belt pulley. Not to mention needing a new PCM and it to be flashed by a dealer. Plus its illegal to swap in an older motor than the current one in most places.
