Would really like to know in layman terms which mounts are which on my 97 Taurus. I know my book shows illustrations but in the description of it and location it throws me off a bit The one damaged right now is on the right front side by a/c. Any help?

There's one on the front of the motor (facing the front of the car). That's the front motor mount. It's a hydraulic mount with two bolts that connect to the block, and another that goes through the subframe. There's a rear motor mount that looks like a bushing with a bolt going through it that is NOT hydraulic. There's also a transmission mount that is accessed via the driver's side wheel well.
