So i was looking in my manual trying to see what type of engine i have.
Im pretty sure its a vulcan, but then it said something about FFV engines.
I have an FFV badge on both sides of my car and here are some pics of what im looking at.

What does FFV mean?
and is my engine a Vulcan for sure or what? lol

FFV stands for Flex Fuel Vehicle

You can run on E85

Though it might as well stand for Flex Fuel Vulcan

Reason being the Vulcan is the only FFV engine available on the Taurus

So YES you have a Vulcan.

IIRC there's 2 FFV models aren't there? A Ethanol and a Methanol one, although I've never seen the latter?

Vin VIN VIN
Look @ the 8th Position of the VIN. Is it a 2? FFV Ethanol's are 2.

I personally do not take any bank on Badges. They can be added and Deleted by the owner or the dealer.

Yes, vin code 1 is methanol vin code 2 is ethanol.

I've never seen the FFV's for methanol here in the US.
