Changing what I just posted, after seeing your link...that's what to get, if your regulator is broken. I'd buy local from an Aussie parts place to avoid the possible model differences. They can tell you better than we could. You should go to the store and describe what you need in person.

Ok will do. Its a bit of a drive where I need to get the part from but apparently they have it. Have to wait a few days now due to Australia day and the Australia day holiday happening. Will let you know how I went.

Oh yeah, that's right, I keep forgetting the insane distances you all drive in some of the states. That's why I said get the whole assembly for AU$62 if you can, rather than bother buying the motor separately. One trip is enough. Here in the USA, the motor by itself can go for almost that much in equivalent coin.

A friend of mine lives in Mandurah WA and says he might as well be on Mars, sometimes. Where are you located?

My window onlyt goes up part way and starts to bind because the back is going up quicker than the front. does this mean the regulator is worn out?

May spray the tracks with silicone lube.

Mounting points for the regulator may be loose, especially for the half-track at the B-pillar side of the door. Remove the door panel, operate the window and make sure the regulator mounts are tight.

Yeah tell me about it, I'm in WA and it can easily be 20 states in one. I am about 120km south of Mandurah and getting the part in Perth would be another 45km on top of that, followed by the return trip.

That link I showed you, is that a fair price for the part?

I just hope it is the right one. Happy paying the $21 odd dollars in postage as a trip to the Perth and back would cost about $45 in fuel. Only issue is the wait for it to arrive

Fair is what you think it is, but based on the way you put it you'll pay more on petrol and time to save some money. May as well get what you are looking at. Make sure the part will fit your vehicle, eBay vendors can be fanciful in their application listings.

330km round trip is about 200 miles, 100 miles one-way...here, on a Florida interstate that's a little over an hour's drive each way. (One has to seriously violate the 75MPH speed limit to get pulled over for speeding, or stand out like a sore thumb doing so.) I take it the Aussie highway isn't quite as fast?

Just to confirm. The first picture is the one to get if I need a new "MOTOR REGULATOR"? Or is it the third picture? What are the difference between the two? Cheers
