Thumbs up

I thought Vulcan gets 4.5 w/filter . If I am not mistaken , there is a sticker in the engine compartment to state that.

I check mine tonight again but putting extra oil messes up cam sensor.

The book says 4.5, but I put in 5.5 to put it to the full mark. I just put in 6 quarts at the oil change and haven't had any problems (although I am not advocating that you do this)

My 1996 Sable with Vulcan was 4.5 qts with filter, asper manual. This brought it up to the full mark.

Hey guys - Ever think that the dipstick on your cars is not accurate? If the manual calls for 4.5, I would put in 4.5. Ford is notorious for dipsticks that are inaccurate. My 99 duratec calls for 5.5 and that is what it gets.
