I have a 2003 3.0 Vulcan Taurus (single overhead cam engine). The A/C compressor died. Had a mechanic replace it. I think, what happened was the mechanic did not place the serpentine belt properly into the groves. The belt broke about two hours later after I picked it up. I replaced it with an A/C by-pass belt so I could go buy a new belt. Car would not start. Towed it to another mechanic. That was a month ago. This mechanic turns out to be a parts replacement mechanic not a real mechanic. Car does not start still. He has replaced the Cam synchronizer, the computer (4 times), dropped the tank, etc. Still no start.
What should I be looking for as solution? It looks like this mechanic is chasing codes. Please help.
