My sedan is broken, common issue. Pic, my hose from old coffee maker. Also tried hose like fish tank hose 7/32" id. I boiled warer in the micro in a cup and heated the clear hose and pushed it on. When cool it could not be pulled off. I might use the little clamps from the junk coffee maker, might not. The OEM hose on the car is very hard. My Lin Cont uses soft hose to the hood. Ford's better idea but not for Bulls.
My basic plastic hose I put on scrap to test with hot water, cannot be pulled off by hand. Super glue would work fine but still need to heat the new hose or it will not push on. Maybe a heat gun with careful use. Hot water heat and super glue might not work.
I was surprised at how hard and brittle the OEM hose was.
I happened to find a Bull in the junkyard that had been repaired with a nice soft host instead of that hard plastic OEM deal. I liked that soft hose so much I snagged it and ended up using it. I might have been a vacuum hose as supple as it was.

OEM is quarter inch OD so vac hose will work just fine. Quarter inch id will fit not too tight, super glue or thread locker will fix that. But It ain't brain surgery. :lol2:
