Parts compatibility

I have a 2000 sable LS premium, which unfortunately had a close encounter with bambi. Can anyone tell me what span of model years that would have compatible parts? I'm looking at replacing the hood, right fender and headlight assembly. Is it 2000-2005?

Thanks!

2000-2005 will work.

Hood, fenders, and headlights are all the same for those years.

For Grille and Bumper:
2000-2003 Will have the same design. 2004-2005 is the slightly updated design.

Thanks to you both - that helps a lot. I'd been looking at car-part.com and noticed they'd list several years, but didn't know what the exact range was.

The bumper may be okay - it got a bit pushed out of place, but might still be useable. I'm no mechanic - just going by what they told me when I had an estimate done. But we're hoping to do this ourselves.

Another question - is there a difference in parts for the GS vs. LS body styles?

The only different in styles would perhaps be the engine itself, and maybe the presence or absence of fog lights in the lower bumper. Everything body-wise should be completely interchangeable.

One note: 2004-2005 Sables had a different fog light design (the shape was made round, whereas before the were more of a squared teardrop shape), and 05-05 Sables had a chrome grille instead of black.

As far as body parts, it'sthatcar hit it perfectly.

LS Premium and many LS (02+) models had Foglights.
2000-01 LS(exc. premium) & GS models did not.

That is going to be your only difference.

2004 was the facelift with different fogs and a chrome grille.

Sounds good. I've been seeing parts listed for both the LS and the GS. Since I'm lookin for the fender and hood, that will be a help that I can use either. Thank you again!
