I'm trying to replace this hose/pipe on my wife's '99 Taurus. I can't find a replacement anywhere. Does anyone know what it's called, or a part number for it?

PCV line. You might be able to replace it with a length of hose or find a replacement at the local pick-yer-part.

I think the pipe/hose itself is part number 8A595...8N030 is a connector. $40 is more than I'd pay for something a $2 piece of new hose could solve, but that's just me. You may have to have that part. Another member was just asking about this same piece within the past two or three weeks, maybe he'll see this and join in.

^^^ +1
Replace the whole thing with a piece of hose for a few $$. Zip tie the hose up to keep it from abrading / rubbing on anything and keep it away from high heat sources.
