Default Fog Lights?!?

Ok, so I've searched and searched and can't find what I'm looking for....
I used to have an '01 (Think it was an SES) The car had fog lights with the switching being part of the headlight switch. Now I've got an '04 and I'm looking to add fog lights to it. For the life of me I can't find a factory option. I don't wand aftermarket, I want ones that fit in the "slots" in the lower corners of the bumper. Will housings for a sable fit, and if not, what will? I'd be perfectly fine with the ones that were on my old '01 but I can't even find those. Help!!!

ETA: I don't care about the headlight switching, the fogs aren't going to be "standard" they're going to be set up as another forward facing emergency lighting. So all wiring will run through existing control boxes.

So, the lights that were on the '01 weren't factory? Well they fit perfectly in the bumper, I'd love to figure out what they were, I want that clean fit look.

I was thinking the same thing. Perhaps he had a sable or perhaps I wonder if it had a sable front bumper that had been swapped on? Then again I have seen a duraflex body kit that seemed to be almost fog light ready without any cutting nec. Otherwise it might have been like this with a sable light switch.

I'm curious as to what these fog lights were....I've been looking for a factory fog light look.

Default Fog Lights?!?

If you want a separate option for fog lights on the headlight switch I have a few headlight switches with the fog lamps feature from sables that will plug right in I can sell you.

Correct in no g4 taurus ever had factory fogs. The sable LS's did. Lots of members have added fogs so just look around.

It was definitely a Taurus, not a sable. The bumper looked the same as the bumper on my '04

I'm wondering if maybe they were Sable fogs. I'd be interested in getting dimension specs on the sable fogs to see how they'd fit into the Taurus bumper.....

No thanks on the switch, like I said they're not going to actually be fog lights. I'm going to put LED hide-aways in them so they'll be switched from the control box for the rest of the lighting in the car.

So you will put a switch in for them or will they just turn on with the parking lamps or low beams then?

They'll be switched separately. They're not actually going to be used as fog lamps. The fog lamp bulb will be replaced with a LED Hide-away (most likely a set of Feniex Cannons Police lights, Emergency led lights, public work lights, Feniex industries, Warning vehicle lights and sirens, lightbars) and those will be through the emergency light control panel which is already in the car. I'm just looking for a fog light housing that looks factory since the car is a slick top and with the exception of a couple of grill lights and a set of LEDs on the rear plate all the lights are undercover lights (ie not really visible until they're activated)
