Rear Driver Side Wheel is lower than the rest of the car? [Pic] - Taurus Car Club of America : Ford Taurus Forum

I noticed this a couple days ago, and it's not affecting proformance, but I'd like to fix this before it gets any worse. Anyone know what happened here? I haven't jacked it up yet because its so cold out, so I haven't gotten a good look yet.

It's a 2005 Taurus. No recent service work besides an oil change several weeks ago and tire replacement.

Struts are probably going bad. Happens. You'll need to replace both rear struts.

Either broken struts^^ Or too much weight in the back lol

Struts dont cause sag. That is a spring issue

Just did the same in my car. Had a left rear sag of 3/4 an inch. Should be no more than 5/16".

Guessing a broken spring. Very common on these cars. Replace both rears with quick strut assemblies.

What do you guys think of this brand?: 2005 Ford Taurus 4 Door Sedan Rear Strut Assembly (Monroe Econo-Matic) at 1AAuto.com

I'm just replacing the bad one until July, when I'll change the other 3. Hopefully they'll hold up until then.
