93 SHO 3.2 timing issue urgent!! - Taurus Car Club of America : Ford Taurus Forum

My 93 SHO 3.2l ^^ has just jumped time, the timing idler closest to the alternator under the cover spit the bearings out and it jumped time, my questions.

Is the SHO an interference motor?
the ford dealership, told me they would fix it but i have to find the parts because they are obselete, i cant get it through AZ, Orielleys, or napa, gonna check shosource gotta find this part.

what am i looking at as a problem since this engine has jumped time? it wont start, but turns over hope i didn't really mess it up.

Yes it has had it's 60k maintenence.

The engine is non-interference so you are okay.

We have the idler bearings here: New ATX Timing Belt Idler Pulley 93-95 SHO Source

I would recommend replacing the tensioner as well since you are there: Rebuilt ATX Timing Belt Tensioner 93-95 SHO Source

alright ill probabl be placing an order like this week, how hard is it to re time this thing, ima have to do it in my driveway
