I'm trying to replace a fuel pump so I've been disconnecting some of the lines leading up to it. This connection leads up to the charcoal canister - it seems to swivel with the other line in it - not sure how to release it. I thought maybe the white tab would lift out but I can't seem to get a flat head screwdriver under it.
![]() In this image you can see one of two rectangular holes in it. ![]() Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not positive, but I think the white piece in the connector is a u-shaped clip, and it's pulled out radially from connector.
Can you push from both slot ends with a small screwdriver? |

You are supposed to press in on the clip to release. I know you can remove it but that is not necessary. I usually spray some WD40 on it and twist back and forth to loosen it up, then pull straight apart while squeezing the clip.
