I have a 98 Taurus SE that won't shift out of park. I found a bad wire to the brake light switched and repaired that. I also put a new brake light switch in and still nothing. I have never been a Ford guy but this car has been great to me until this happened. Any help would be awesome. At my wits end with it.

Well after talking to a few people they said it sounded like a fuse. Checked the fuse for the brake lights and was blown. Replaced that and she is good to go again.
