Have to stick foot under the brake pedal and pull up to get them off. It only comes up a tiny bit (a cenimeter). Is there an adjuster for the switch? I think it needs adjustment.
Same thing with cruise contro. won't engage unless stick foot under pedal and pull up. |

Sounds like the switch is sticking & needs to be replaced. It also acts to cancel the cruise control, so if it isn't releasing, the cruise won't set. My switch is on the brake master cyl, so if your master cyl has been replaced with one having a longer connecting rod going to the brake pedal, that could cause your kind of miscief.
