to be honest im on the fence i really want that reinforced atx yall got at SHOsource, but at same hand i can't afford that!! and on top of that i also need to know if the stock trans if rebuilt to factory specs, can handle me putting my foot in it, because i tend to do that quite a bit!??

the only way i see that im going to get out of this without sinking an ungodly amount of money into it, is to do the etire job myself buy cheap used trans rebuild, and then swap in, easily typed, but seriously i know nothing on how to work on a trans, yea i can get it out and unbolt it from the engine, once they both out!!

Seems that the biggest causes of failure are Torque Converter and Valve Body issues. You could get a used one and install an upgraded rebuilt converter, and have the valve body rebuilt w/upgrades. Cheaper than a full rebuild, and may last long enough.

I still think you should just get a used one from the JY and throw it in... Low cost to you. It's the best way it you don't have the money to get it rebuilt.

picked one up at a JY for $600 had 100k miles on it, lowest milage one i could get, they put it in for another $500, but the trans is out of a 95, from what i have heard the 94/95 were better built, so should do well,considering the original was still the 93, car is ready right now but still paying on repairs, trans has a 9 month warranty, on it, so long as it will run fine ill be happy. SHO finally fixed....
