It is very possible to do the retrofit if your willing to give up some time and cash for parts. I successfully did the conversion on my '99, which was fairly easy considering the availability of parts at local u-pull scrapyards. Since you already have the deck, or commonly referred to as the ICP
, count yourself lucky if you got it at a scrapyard because most people tend to jump on them from what i've seen. They take the ICP
but not the actual guts that make up the EATC
Aside from the ICP
, you will need the RCC
, blower motor speed controller, the EATC
blend door actuator, vacuum tubes, sensors, and wiring. All of these parts can be found cheap if you go to the right yard.
