I see that like every other car make our Taruses are prone to rust too. I've found and used this product to prevent rust from forming. and kill it too. I can tell you it does works as advertised. I applied it to a new left front brake caliper on my 2000 Jeep GC last spring. To this day there is no rust forming, and overspray has killed rust. It might be just the ticket to keep the rust off and out of your Taurus cars instead of using oil or grease.
A friend in Louisianna applied it to a piece of the rear quarter panel he had replaced on his 67 GTO. He cleaned the rust off a section to bare metal and left some rust. Sprayed and wiped it down with Gibbs and has left it out in the weather next to his shop for the past year. No rust has formed on the cleaned section and rust is disappearing on the rusted section. Gibbs Brand penetrant No, I don't sell it.... I just used it. Maybe a Stickie would be good to keep this visible. Your choice. |

Give me some...NOW! Save my rear panel before it becomes too much. Long time way but still.
