Default Rear defrost dangling with pic

The rear defrost on my 2003 Taurus was not working. Low and behold the connector is hanging down. Any ideas on how to reattach this?
Thanks.

The Ford approved method is explained in the attachment.

Did it myself last December and it is still working.

The replacement tab was $13 at Rockauto and around $25 at the dealer.

Just clean the buss bar well (I used a pot scrubber sponge and alcohol) and put the new tab at a right angle to the old one.

My entire rear window shattered two nights ago because of this very thing, so be careful. SafeLite suggested some type of conductive glue from Radioshack.
