The rear defrost on my 2003 Taurus was not working. Low and behold the connector is hanging down. Any ideas on how to reattach this?
Thanks. |

The Ford approved method is explained in the attachment.
Did it myself last December and it is still working. The replacement tab was $13 at Rockauto and around $25 at the dealer. Just clean the buss bar well (I used a pot scrubber sponge and alcohol) and put the new tab at a right angle to the old one. |

My entire rear window shattered two nights ago because of this very thing, so be careful. SafeLite suggested some type of conductive glue from Radioshack.
