can anyone recommend front suspension bushings better than ford's, or autozone, pep boys, etc..?. i have replaced several on my car already, and they didn't last worth a $h!+ !! i have two complete strut towers with CV'S, hub, calipers, everything. i want to re-build them with the longest-lasting, heavy-dutyest bushings i can find. then install them. anyone have any experience with what is best ??

What year and what bushings are you looking to replace? There are not many options actually but even the standard bushings will last a while.

sorry-1995 taurus gl-125,000 miles now. i had some slight rattles in the front, and replaced several bushings (don't remember which ones, now) and that quieted everything down. they were from a ford stealership. but now, the front is noisier than ever. i realize it could be the bushings i DIDN'T replace, but at the time, everything else seemed tight and in good shape. also, i did the sfb's about 30,000 miles ago, too (from ford). i am pissed that i have more noises so soon, and want to have the best i can, to avoid having to do anything like this again anytime soon.

Before you just start throwing parts at it, have you looked at the front end? What noise are you hearing now, you just say the front is noisier then ever? Check your endlinks, sway bar bushings, control arm bushings, etc.

We have all of the bushings you can throw at it here: Suspension- Bushings SHO Source - SHO Source
The Ingalls are good OEM style and perform quite well. We also have poly bushings which are a better bushings but they can squeak more then people like. We do offer new control arms which have the integrated bushings. Also check the front strut rod bushing retainer. This can come loose and cause noise. This would need to be welded to be fixed or we have a repair kit.
