I found it a lot easier to drop the subframe than to deal with an a/c recharge. It's all nuts and bolts.

Dealership wanted $1,200, independent shop wanted $900 to replace compressor and evac/recharge.
All I had was a bad coil. Due to space limitations, I used a series of progressively larger washers and a 6mm bolt to press the new coil on. So far so good and it's worth the hundred bucks for a shot at saving a thousand. Thanks for your help everyone! |
