I want to change my PCV valve as my Taurus has 128K miles on it (got it with 90K on it) and I have no idea if it's ever been replaced or not (probably not). I want to replace it, but as I'm new to the 2004 Taurus, I cannot find it.

Is it possible for somebody to tell me where it is? Possibly with pictures?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. (The more detailed, the better, as I'm still learning.)

The thread above will show you the location....on the 04's the valve has a plug attached to it...also, the valve twists into the valve cover BUT also has two little locking tabs that help keep it in place...according to the 2004 Taurus Shop Service Manual...the locking tabs will need to be broken to remove valve and a new PCV valve will need to be put in....you can see what it looks like in the thread below

A little left of center.... ( - _ - )
