I've compiled some pictures of an a/c compressor from a ford crown victoria in various stages of disassembly. Many ford tauruses also use a very similar fs10 compressor but with the rear head configured for back ports rather than top ports.

Interesting, I never knew what was in there before. Looks like some precision machined parts for sure.

That's pretty cool. It's odd that Ford used that compressor in the Focus for two years. I've always thought the A/C in the Focus was a lot colder than other compact cars.
