I need Windshield Washer nozzles for my '97 Taurus but they have been discontinued and I guess I have to buy the whole hood to get them from a junk yard. Are they interchangeble with any other year models?

You can just grab some from a local pick n pull/junkyard for next to nothing. You remove the pushpins that hold the hood blanket, and remove the hood blanket. You'll see the washer nozzles are held in with clips, so just pop them out and remove the fluid hose attached to em.

As long as the nozzle is from a 96-07 Taurus or Sable they will work. Just some of the 96-98 ones are painted body color.

^^^^AFAIK only '96 had them painted to match the body color. I'm pretty sure that was stopped by the '97 production year as a cost saving move by Ford.

I still have the washer nozzles from my old Sable. Pay for shipping, and they're yours.

My 97 SHO had body-colored nozzles.

Thanks guys! I ordered some '02 nozzles from the local ford dealer for $6.00 ea. I'm enjoying all the topics and resources for Taurus owners.

Got two new ones from discount Ford parts sight @ 4.95 a piece. Shipping was ten bucks so...20.00 for two. 6.00 sounds alot better but live & learn.

They have a ton of stuff for the Tauri.

The outside of them is just a shell. So you can swap colors on them if you want. My '97 had red nozzles.
