When I turn on the parking lights OR headlamps the dash lights will not come on, except for the turn indicators (inside only) will light up solid. Indicators will blink when turn signal is activated but go back to solid when turn is canceled…all this only when the headlamps are on. Outside everything seems to be in order.

I have read other posts pointing to the multifunction switch, but those issues are related to washer functions. I'm not sure if my problem deals with the MFS or not??

I've checked ALL the fuses in the panel box...as well as all them under the hood. Problem remains!

Please chime in if you know of this problem OR know what the fix is!!

Do the dash lights work when parking lights are on only?

Turn the little dimmer wheel next to the light switch.......

If that doesn't work you have a blown fuse.

Do you recall if it was odd type fuse?? I've checked all the obvious ones and they are all good.

Dealer says multifunction switch. Anyone else agree or think this switch can be part of the problem?

I had the same problem, except it was intermittent. My tail lights would got out too sometimes. It turned out it was a bad ground on the gauge cluster and the whole thing had to be replaced $$$

Well if you are blowing fuses you have a short somewhere. Get out the ohm meter and start testing the wires to ground.
