Thumbs down

Hello everyone, i'm sure glad i found this forum. Seems like a popular place from the number of threads and seems like everyone is very nice and helpful.

Lately my interior lights won't go off? Even with the door closed. To prevent battery drain, i pulled the fuse so now i have no interior lights and it's really dark at night.

I found this thread on door sensors: http://www.taurusclub.com/forum/inde...howtopic=38310

Is this my problem? Does the sensor need to be replaced or cleaned? Any help would be appreciated.

Spray some Wd-40 in the door lock latches, they have a tendency to stick and keep the lights on.

No problem. The door lock latches are a very common issue we all have had at some point.

Do the WD-40 to clean the switches, and work that in really well. Then, ocne that's dried, spray some white lithium grease in there to lube the switches up really well.

The WD-40 is a water-displacer, and is good at cleaning things out, but not too good at long-term lubrication, and it tends to attract dirt and grime. The white lithium grease will take care of the lubrication.

Because the very top position on the dimmer switch turns the dome light on.

Normally there's a click you can feel between "Max IP Brightness" and "Dome Lights On."
