The 12 Bulls of Christmas

The big day is rapidly approaching, time to get it looking at least a little like Christmas around here

On the 12th day of Christmas TCCA gave to me:
12 Volts not charging
11 Coolant leaks
10 No heat threads
9 Vacuum leaks
8 SHO cylinders roaring
7 Engine codes
6 Platinum spark plugs
5 Frozen lugnuts
4 SHO chromies
3 Binding slide pins
2 Brighter headlights
and a plugged Vulcan heater core

Merry Christmas Bullheads!

Maybe it should say
....

2 Brighter Headlights
And a badly leaking Duratec oil pan.

My Taurus is gone, but not forgotten.

Our lives are a series of missions, aided by our gifts and talents, in pursuit of the betterment of our neighborhoods.

12 quarts of Mercon V to change
11 volts at the headlights
10 year emission warranty
9 mm brake bleed screws
8 seconds to get to 60
7 versions of parts when just one would do
6 passengers to carry
5 quarts of coolant that drain
4 scan to trouble shoot
3 broken fuel filter clips
2 broken front springs

and an alternator that'd be easier to change in a pear tree!

2004 Taurus SES Duratec Gold Ash Metallic 95k (looks green to me)

Upgrades: Mach RCU & Tweeters, Bluetooth, Ford Cargo Tray, LED Trunk Lighting, Headlight Relays
Running on: Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus, M1 0w30 AFE & Fram Pro Synthetic Filter, Valvoline MERCON V, Valvoline DOT 3&4, ZEREX G-05, Top Tier Regular Gas

Spent a good portion of last night doing 'Some assembly required.' As the boys have gotten older there's less of it to do but I also used to be able to space it out over time a little more easily. Now that they can make it to our camp's barn on their own 'Santa' has lost his remote workshop. Adding to the festivities today is our wedding anniversary. It did not occur to us at the time but getting married on Christmas Eve pretty much guaranteed a lifetime of Asian food for our anniversary dinners as my Bride is not a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine.

I find gifts these days tend to require less assembly and more software updates. :/
