Mine leaks from the pan gasket so I'm with you on the oil slick. I just cant see it cause I park the wagon on stones, not in my driveway.

Fixed my subs today. Just used some decent speaker wire! Haha. Got rid of the junk 20ga I had and put some GOOD 12ga on there. Subs began working again. Still need a new amp, but mine works for now and thats all that matters.

I also found a shop that one of my clients highly recommends. He says they charge only $65/hr, and are very honest and do great work. I'm going to check them out next week.

She didn't want to stay running thismorning. Started on the first try (after a few seconds of cranking). However, she nearly stalled several times. Didn't stall though. I let it warm up for a few seconds and the rpm's dropped down to 900 then I felt it hesitate and chug and then the rpm's flew back up to 1500. Then went down to around 500 and hung out there so I gave it some gas. When I let off the pedal it then stayed at 1500rpm again for a while. When it came down this time, no issues.

Ideas? What causes a slight misfire/hesitation when cold? Do I need a new iac or did mine act normally?

My thoughts are either IAC or TPS. Leaning more towards IAC because of it hanging around 500. With throttle almost fully closed it should idle normally. I'd take off your IAC and see how dirty it is.

FIXED MY ABS and TC! Just put the new ECU for the ABS pump on it. Voila, it all works!

In the process I busted the battery terminal and had to rig it up.



Fixed that tonight!


I believe my alternator is starting to go out on me. It's very annoying because it's quite new.

I also found a shop that charges $60/hr and was highly recommended to me! Going to have them do my oil pan gasket.

So same issue thismorning. When rpm's drop down below 1000, she doesn't wanna stay running. Today the rpm's dropped, it bucked and hesitated. I have it gas but it stalled! So not iac? Any ideas?

In other news, did a few more mod's today....

Changed my passenger side headlight - the other one had a crack and was letting moisture in. This new one is pristine.

I also put 'sable' mudflaps on. One of the words is fading, but I don't really care.


Put a 6x9 speaker in the hole in the center. Not sure what to do about the top carpet though. I cut a hole in the lower carpet.

I forgot to take a picture, but I also put a passenger side puddle lamp on. The ground isn't working though. It's so weird. If I push the door open the light will flicker and dim and then sometimes go out. With the door fully closed it works fine, with it not moving it seems to work fine too. I have no idea why this is happening. It's really odd! The drivers side does not do this.
