if your'e willing to help in the action against Ford mail a short letter to our attorney at the address below.
Be concise, include the vin# and the details of the failure, and how it was fixed. If any of you got quotes from Ford make sure you include those, as well as any mis diagnoses by any Ford shop regarding your failure.
Please send the SIGNED letter to the following address:
Would be a plus if you could get this notarized, but don't hold back due to that.
Everybody that has had this happen to them felt pretty screwed. Heres your chance to help out.
Thanks

And I believe it was for a very valid reason, namely cam failures.

#1 relax! #2 YES #3 Lots of things break on cars... if they break outside of the warranty period, & aren't safety related... you're S.O.L. Suing solves nothing. Jeez get a grip.

^^

I'm not in to bashing, so I'm gonna leave that alone.

You need to do some research into the 'cam failure' and you'll know what the fuss is about.

It wouldn't be such a problem if the upper gasket set wasn't over $700.....

Sounds like something akin to the GM V6 that developed a leaking intake manifold gasket because of a chemical reaction with that DEXCOOL yellow pee looking antifreeze. Some real horor stories about it where folks threw down hard earned money t buy a GM vehicle and when it was out of warranty the gasket started leaking. Some dealers did the rught thing and paid half of the repair, and some said tough sh**, stick it.

GM laid down and wouldn't do the right thing and as such lost thousands of customers because they put that engine in hundreds of thousands of vehicles. I know becasue I had one of the sorry suckers and that was the first and last GM product I will ever own. Clearly a GM engineering design flaw and they should have made good on it.

We got screwed by the GM gasket failure thing, too. The dealer said sorry, at 80K they just can't help. Too bad for us and GM. This was the only real repair in the life of the car and the car now has 110K. The $800 repair tab has left a bitter taste that may never go away...
