Agreed! My car is my baby... but she needs some serious attention in the next couple months when it gets warm. By attention, I mean lots of $$$$$$$$.

I always notice every other Taurus when driving, but I just wonder how many of them notice me... or even care.

Well lady hearse had no progress lately. But I'm about to repaint the engine bay and put the new motor in it.

And at the same time my 95 made very little progress, but it's almost back together.

I saw a really pretty Gen 4 [red] in the Sears parking lot the other day. Fully loaded SEL, spoiler, moonroof, Duratec. It looked like it just came off the show floor, super clear headlights, looked like the paint was waxed, wheels brake-dust free. Just a beauty. First time I actually circled a parking lot to look at a Taurus.

It's kind of sad to look at. Multiple hit and runs, a deer incident, and rust have made it less than pretty. It needs work looks-wise, and I suppose it's a question of how much I want to put into it this summer.

Mechanically she's fine though, aside from the front swaybar endlinks (no big deal). Comfortable too, which is always good since I'm putting on at least 50 miles per day. She gets new tires when my tax return comes in.

i need to buff my Taurus cause the paint is already faded and chipping away on the front and rear bumpers but at the tops I also need to wax it. gotta keep my red paint haha

And my blacked turn signal housings. And Angel Eyes. Although she needs some eye surgery, one is a bit...lazy haha
