Well I'm not planning on embedding it in the dash quite yet, but if I go nexus 7 that is a great idea! I want it to be removable though.

Can't comment on the tablet, but I have my phone in a Otterbox Defender case, and I am very pleased with the case.

I also owned 3 otterbox Defender cases for cell phones and one covers my tablet. My first case protected my first smart phone from at least 100 drops and water submersion the phone still works in case I have to use it as a wifi-only device.

That is really cool. Only thing is why the heck would anyone put that in a toyota corolla!
I've had several otterbox cases over the years, starting with my iPhone 3G S back in the day when it was new. Great cases! Still contemplating buying the application and just using it with my mac. It just has SO many features It would be awesome to be able to read trans codes without going to a shop!
