Don't worry... the 2006 SE isn't going anywhere!!!

We had been hunting for another Taurus or Sable for quite some time and stumbled upon this beautiful vibrant white 2005 Taurus SEL. It was built in February of 2005.

It just rolled over 87k when I was driving it yesterday. It is equipped with the Vulcan, a column shifter, a cloth interior (I HATE Leather), leather wrapped steering wheel, DRLs, an autodim mirror, the classic SEL woodgrain, ABS, and other standard SEL features if I am missing anything. It is a very basic SEL. My '06 has more features now haha!

This SEL has the standard RCU... that has got to change.

It has some minor issues I'll be taking care of, but for the price being under book value, we did well!! Road salt attacked the rims though.. and it had been in a minor accident so the passenger side mirror had been replaced. (It has no puddle lamp).

I know my Taurus is going to get jealous of the attention I am giving the new SEL.

I've always really liked those 7-spoke wheels. They're my favorite of all the other Taurus stock wheels. It's very nice looking!

My SEL is very similar to yours except it has a moonroof and a floor shifter.

Thanks for the compliments guys. The rims are nice.. but I still prefer the ones on the 2006. The NYS road salt got to the SEL rims and corroded them in some spots. My alloys don't corrode.

I like those wheels. Good looking car.

If you keep tabs on your wheels, IE mounting wheel weights inside the barrels of the wheels, wash and wax the wheels at least once a month, you can keep alloy wheels looking new for a long time.
