S3CKSHUN is an unknown quantity at this point
Default 3.4 l?

So, just a question of curiosity... how reliable were the v8s in the gen 3's? Assuming I found an SHO with the cam sprockets welded, how long would the engine be good for? I hear the vulcans are bulletproof (never owned one myself) and I'm approaching 100k in my duratec with no real issues. What about that v8, the engine with the exhaust tone that soothes your ears like audible chocolate?

How reliable is any 15~ year old engine? If it's alive and kicking, it's obviously outlived any severe design flaws. Anything else is entirely dependent on the treatment/maintenance by previous owners.

Cool

They seem to be fairly reliable but parts are becoming obsolete by the day.
