Sam, presently I, and the 3 sons, have 5 gen3 tecs. 98-99s. Had 5 gen2 Vulcans in the past. 94-95s. Youngest son eventually wrecked all of them. He's grown up and matured now, lol. All in their 30s and early 40s. Oldest son crept to the "dark side" and has an 05 Malibu Maxx, too.

I drove it to band practice. It was the first time in like 8 days that I've driven it more than moving it around in the driveway.

I pulled the spark plug wires this morning and discovered that I had a little oil in the bottom of the wells. Well, that explains the rough idle, bad starts, and periodic misfires...this'll be fun.

On the other side...the previous owner must have had ALL service done at dealerships. Every part under that hood has "Motorcraft" stuck all over it. Belts, you name it. Even the PCV valve tube has the tag still on it proudly saying "Designed, Built, and Endorsed by Ford Motor Company".

I went to Home Depot got some long bolts and got them welded on at a local Muffler shop. So I am 5% done with the floor shift mod. 5% down 95% to go. I'll do the 95% on a Friday morning when I find my unopened jack stands with at least a 60+ degree temp outside so I don't freeze. Brrrrrrrrrr.

Ive had the straight pipe on for a few days now, pics in the post a pic of your taurus thread, just ordered 2 TCCA Eastern Canada stickers in Gloss white for the rear quarter windows!
