They make their own speakers, and from what I recall, I don't believe they offer a 6.5" round.

Besides, already moving forward with the 5x7's. Ssoooooo..... a lil too late.

Thanks for the suggestion however. I'm sure I'll be perfectly fine with the set up, as a whole, once everything's completed.

Nice handy work of yours btw.

I have to +1 on the swapping to 6.5's. Speakers just don't work well as an oval. I never understood why anyone ever decided that was a good idea... I mean physics of sound. Luckily the Sony system on the 2013+ is all round speakers.

Also congrats on hitting 1000 posts BPD.. Well at this point you're at 999 but I figure when you reply to my comment you'll hit 1000

Began working on sanding down all the various bits that have been previously fiberglassed.

This is the next stage towards the final finishing and/or application of the finishing materials.
