the MOOG CC859 springs are for the older model anyone know what the model number is for the 2004 cargo springs?

Yea, iirc they're for a 1995 wagon. You can use them fine with struts for the gen 4 sedan.

info: the only bass guitar is the acustic instrument from spain and is very rarely used.
most guitars have 6 strings (a few have more) what you are playing is a electric bass violin (SHORTENED TO ELECTRIC BASS), the upright version is commonly known as a bass, but it is a bass violin.
violins and BASS violins have 4 strings E,A,D,G There are related VIOL family members i.e. cello and viola (the most commonly known) which actually predate the violin family also have foue strings tuned in 5th C,G,D,A,

I'm not sure if there are ones specifically for the G4... From what I remember, the MOOG springs I referred to are the stiffest springs that came stock on any Taurus (which was the G2 wagons).

I'd imagine a set is two springs, but read the details and see if that gives any answers, otherwise I believe you can contact the seller and ask. I don't know why they wouldn't be a pair though...

I just looked and the photo features two springs so I think you're safe.
