I need to heli-coil the high-pressure line thread on my '93 GL steering rack with the variable-assist (VAPS). I broke the golden rule and overtightened the steel fitting into the aluminum rack
The worst part is that the rack was new less than 2000 miles ago.Does anyone know what type of thread is on the high-pressure line fitting? I cannot find this information anywhere, short of actually checking the thread on the line itself.
