So a while back I went to a Ford dealership to get replacement keys made for my car and to set up a key fob too. When they came back, they said that they couldn't set up the key-less entry because I was missing that part in my car. So what I'm getting at, is there a way for me to get key-less entry still without spending hundreds of dollars? Could I just go to a yard and pull parts and put them in?
There are a couple of ways to go about it and several threads here on the subject, use the search function for them. Adding factory keyless entry involves, among other things, swapping the SJB. There are aftermarket solutions that are much simpler.
Your aftermarket solutions, which are much cheaper-offer many additional options rather than just the mediocre factory keyless entry to boot
