Hi
I have got problem with my 1992 3.0 gl taurus. Couple weeks ago i wanted to repair my radiator. When I repaired it and installed back in my car i got problems. First when I turn my key in ignition switch i see that airbag control, check engine control and red brake(!) control are still on . When I turn on engine radiator fan is working and doesnt stop oh and check engine start blinking after 10seconds next engine starts working like the gas couldnt reach or injection trouble
Finally when i press accelerator pedal engine is choking and if i dont stop it will turn off
I was thinking that problems are we hat temperature 30 deg. of Celcius below zero but now we have sun and even 10deg mustnangs are working fine but taurus is still broken:/
I cant find what is broken so if u had problems like mine plz help

If I remember right, the IRCM is attached under the top of the radiator shroud for that year Bull. Did you disconnect the IRCM to pull the shroud? Did you disconnect any grounds? Are you sure the IRCM connector and pins on the IRCM are clean? Connector properly tightened down with the center bolt? Did you disconnect the front crash sensor (I forget exactly where it is for 92, but somewhere near the hood latch assy, I think) or did you possibly hit or damage the crash sensor? Airbag light should flash 2 digit codes. What is code or codes?

I disconnected the IRCM cant say about crash sensor but i think its ok becouse airbag is not blinking when engine is on same brake(!) warning. I am wondering why engine is not working properly i havent done anything with engine and its working like something was wrong with injection or fuel pump rpm of that engine on N making nice sinusoid
Today I'm at work till 7pm so tomorrow i will check everything again . I have never had problems with ford taurus . my last 4 mostly 3.0 V6 were ok . Car has only 50.000 miles and i bought it from 70 years old lady so i am surprised with that electrical problems:/
